Academic Life

Learning is central to the College's purpose and we aim to create a sense of success and happiness for all. We therefore take great pride in helping each girl attain her full potential.

Stella Maris College encourages girls to seek a balanced and individually suited academic program. This is made possible through access to a full range of subjects, organised with flexible timetabling.

The Pastoral Care Program in the College recognises effort and achievement in Years 7 to 10 through merit awards, which are acknowledged at the fortnightly Year meetings.

The Teacher Advisor (TA) system in the College allows for students to be monitored by their Teacher Advisor through regular contact to ensure  that students are coping with the demands of College life.
